This class is a combination of Yin Yoga and Self-Myofascial Release (SMR) therapy. Yin yoga includes passive and restorative postures held for longer periods of time to allow for deep opening of connective tissues. Self-Myofascial Release (SMR) is a therapeutic approach that focuses on relieving muscle pain that affects the fascia (connective tissue that covers the muscles). It is a hands-on technique that works to relax, lengthen and realign your fascia. The goal is to bring you pain relief and increase your range of motion using props such as foam rollers, tennis balls, or even lacrosse balls.

This is a very popular choice for beginners or to take after a faster-paced class. It is perfect before bedtime as it helps calm the nervous system, enabling your body to relax, release, and unwind.
